PLC service engineer – The Netherlands

As a PLC Service Engineer, you’ll join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in the problem-solving, maintenance and diagnostics of PLC systems.

Our office is located in Schiedam, we serve clients throughout The Netherlands.

Your responsibilities

  • Analysing malfunctions and implementing effective solutions to minimise production disruptions
  • Programming, configuring, and optimising PLC systems
  • Providing technical support to customers and technicians for questions, problems, and operational challenges
  • Adjusting parameters at the request of customers, with a focus on optimising system performance
  • Providing support during retrofitting projects
  • Updating documentation of completed tasks and fault reports
  • Establishing and maintaining remote connections with our customers
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure the seamless implementation and integration of PLC systems

What we ask

  • A MBO or HBO degree in automation or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with PLC software, such as Siemens S5, S7, and Tia Portal
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Willing to work flexible hours and travel abroad occasionally
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Capable of tackling complex technical challenges
  • Strong communication skills
  • Resilient, good under pressure, and capable of meeting deadlines
  • Motivated, flexible, and eager to learn
  • Professional and customer-friendly
