Project engineer PLC

As a Project Engineer PLC, you’ll join our dynamic team and play a vital role in programming and commissioning PLC software for automatic warehouses and conveyor installations. These projects range from making minor adjustments to existing installations to upgrading obsolete components and constructing new warehouses.

You will work at our Temse or Herentals branch, depending on where you live. We serve clients throughout Belgium, with occasional projects abroad.

Your responsibilities

• Programming and configuring PLC software according to specifications
• Testing the program, commissioning the installations, and supporting customers in the go-live phase
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting PLC-related issues
• Developing maintenance procedures
• Creating and updating technical documentation
• Ensuring clear communication between engineers, project managers, and suppliers

What we ask

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in automation or electrical engineering
• Experience with Siemens and Tia Portal
• Experience designing and programming PLC systems
• Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
• Strong communication skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Resilient, good under pressure, and capable of meeting deadlines
• Motivated, flexible, and eager to learn
