From concept to control: the E’Log approach to intralogistics automation

At E’Log, we don’t just implement automation; we make it meaningful. Our unique approach transforms complex challenges into scalable, future-ready systems that deliver long-term value. We call this simplexity: clarity in complexity, delivered through independent advice, technical precision, and close collaboration with your team. Automation isn’t about the latest tech; it’s about making technology work for your business. That’s what our approach is designed to do.

More than tech: a pragmatic mindset

Delivering a successful automation solution requires more than technical expertise or off-the-shelf components. It takes a thoughtful approach that combines hands-on experience, independent system integration, and a deep understanding of your day-to-day operations.

That’s why we structure every project around four strategic phases, turning complexity into clarity and ideas into impact.

Step 1: Concepts first, not components

Every automation project starts with a conceptual phase, during which we thoroughly analyse your operations, data, and goals. Unlike many integrators, we don’t begin with technology; we start with your needs. Before engaging suppliers or proposing equipment, we use in-house tools and technical expertise to evaluate multiple scenarios and model flows and provide early budget visibility.

This approach lets us focus entirely on your requirements, not what’s readily available or already in stock. Before involving suppliers, we look at the big picture and engineer independently towards the smartest possible solution.

We define a ‘solution’ as the integrated outcome of multiple components or subsystems, like AMRs, shuttle systems, or conveyor technology. At this stage, we design the solution first. The choice of components follows, not leads.

Step 2: Internal expertise, rooted in reality

Our internal workshops bring together engineers, project leads, and service experts to review and stress-test each proposed solution. These sessions connect design assumptions with real-world experience, from implementation lessons to maintenance insights.

For instance, a service engineer flagged the long-term maintenance risk of a supplier’s pallet lift in one project. We proposed an alternative with better accessibility, slightly more expensive upfront, but with a significant lifecycle advantage. That’s the value of experience: fewer surprises and better decisions.

We don’t just design systems; we design systems that work today, tomorrow, and years from now.

Step 3: Strategic independence in supplier selection

Only when the concept is validated do we reach out to suppliers. This order of operations is deliberate: it preserves objectivity and ensures we don’t design around a product catalogue.

We evaluate each component based on what the solution truly requires. We avoid systems with embedded control logic that create vendor lock-in or complicate long-term upgrades. It is how we keep your system modular, open, and adaptable.

E’Log is a 100% vendor-agnostic system integrator. We don’t sell equipment—we deliver systems that perform.

By approaching suppliers with a clear concept, we also keep conversations focused and procurement cycles efficient.

Step 4: True partnership, not transactions

Automation is never a one-time delivery—it’s a long-term journey. That’s why we co-create every solution in close collaboration with your team. From the first workshop to the final commissioning, we keep you involved in the process and transparent in every decision. We strongly believe in empowering our clients.

We openly discuss trade-offs, assess risks, and align priorities. We don’t push products. We solve problems—together.

Even after going live, we stay involved. We document thoroughly, share source code, and design systems you can evolve independently. Our lifecycle support ensures you maintain control, keep flexibility, and never face a black-box scenario.

Real innovation isn’t locked in a cabinet—it’s built on transparency and trust.
