Field service engineer – The Netherlands

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll join our dynamic team, providing technical support and maintaining and repairing automatic warehousing and conveyor installations.

Our office is located in Schiedam, we serve clients throughout The Netherlands.

Your responsibilities

• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on our systems
• Analysing malfunctions and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime
• Repairing and commissioning our installations for our customers on-site
• Carrying out minor retrofitting projects in the electromechanics field
• Providing technical support to customers for questions, problems, and operational challenges
• Updating documentation of completed tasks, such as maintenance reports
• Assisting the internal sales department in creating quotes
• Working on-call (in the future)

What we ask

• A MBO or HBO degree in electromechanics or a vocational degree (preferably with work experience as a technician)
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Driving licence (B)
• Willing to work flexible hours and running 24/7 standby services
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Capable of tackling complex technical challenges
• Strong communication skills
• Resilient, good under pressure, and capable of meeting deadlines
• Motivated, flexible, and eager to learn
• Professional and customer-friendly
