Project engineer mechanical

As a Project Engineer Mechanical, you’ll join our dynamic team and play a vital role in creating detailed mechanical designs for automatic warehouses and conveyor installations. These projects range from making minor adjustments to existing installations to upgrading obsolete components and constructing new warehouses.

You will work at our Temse or Herentals branch, depending on where you live. We serve clients throughout Belgium, with occasional projects abroad.

Your responsibilities

  • Integrating various sub-systems (conveyors, pallet cranes, wrapping machines, etc.) into one cohesive design, taking into account technical standards, safety regulations, and functional requirements such as maximum weights and required capacities
  • Collaborating with suppliers on detail engineering
  • Creating detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD and Inventor
  • Assisting with project planning, taking into account detail engineering, delivery deadlines, and installation work
  • Preparing and updating technical documentation, such as mechanical drawings, specifications, and manuals

What we ask

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical field
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Inventor, and mechanical design
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Resilient, good under pressure, and capable of meeting deadlines
  • Motivated, flexible, and eager to learn
