Project engineer mechanical
Purpose of the function
As a Project Engineer Mechanical, you will be at the forefront of a rapidly growing industry driven by the latest automation technologies. You will play a key role in designing and developing cutting-edge automated warehouses and conveyor systems, shaping the future of smart logistics. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team—including project managers, E&I engineers, and PLC engineers—you will ensure the seamless integration of advanced subsystems into a high-performing, innovative, and safe installation.
Job description
- Integrate: Develop detailed mechanical requirements for conveyors, pallet cranes, wrapping machines, and other automated systems, ensuring compliance with safety and functional standards.
- Collaborate & Engineer: Work alongside suppliers and internal teams to create precise and efficient engineering solutions.
- Model & Document: Use AutoCAD and Inventor to produce high-quality drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation.
- Plan & Execute: Contribute to project planning, considering detailed engineering, supplier lead times, and installation schedules.
- Solve & Innovate: Identify and tackle technical challenges, ensuring optimal system performance.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
- Software Skills: Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
- Industry Know-How: Mechanical design experience (Material Handling is a plus!).
- Languages: Dutch & English (French is a bonus).
